Handed was founded by Karina Lewis in 2016 to offer high quality education for in the area of hand therapy, burns and plastics.
We believe that all health care workers have the right to access quality, evidence-based information to enable improved health outcomes.
Handed is a social enterprise. After the costs of running a course, profits from workshops go towards funding education opportunities for health care workers in low and middle-income countries.
Handed provides free, open access to our online content for therapists based in WHO Hinari Group A and B countries.
Additionally, we accept proposals from therapists within Oceania (including Sri Lanka) WHO Hinari Group A and B countries to assist with funding learning and development opportunities related to hand therapy, burns and plastics rehabilitation.
